Nina Pastoria or Orchestra Simfonica del Valles

I'm organising an long weekend in Barcelona for a group of 16 adults aged 30 - 75. I'm considering booking a concert at the Palau Musica Catalana.

The choices are:
Friday: Nina Pastoria
Saturday: Orchestra Simfonica del Valles

Looking for advice to help me with my decision. I'm leaning towards Nina Pastoria because as a Flamenco dancer and singer, she sounds very interesting.

schuler,
If you haven't done so already, you could send your group a link to listen to Nina Pastori's music to be sure she appeals.

Here you can listen to a selection of her recordings:

Thanks Maribel! I wouldn't mind seeing Nina but I'm not sure about the others so I might pass on organising a concert altogether.

I'm in the process of putting together a 4 day itinerary for our Barcelona trip which will include restaurant ideas. I'll be posting it on Fodor's and hope you can take a quick look and offer any of your wonderful valuable advice.

Thanks again. Schuler

I'm also planning to go to a concert at the Palau when I am in Barcelona after reading yk's Spain trip report. I have a choice of two dates and I noticed one of them is in a smaller concert venue not the one with all the stained glass. So for me I plan to choose for the venue more than the concert.....

Hi schuler,
I'd be glad to help you more when you're ready.

hi Mara,
Yes, you should then not book a concert in the new space, the Petit Palau or the small chamber music space, Sala de música de cámara.

Thanks, Maribel. I saved your guides to Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla and Granada to the laptop I'm taking with me to Spain!
