There is a direct night train that leaves Nice Ville at 21:07 and arrives at Pisa Centrale at 05:25.
The fastest day route takes 5 1/2 hours and requires a change of trains in Ventimiglia.
See the timetables at www.bahn.de. After you get summary timetables for 28 December, click "Details for all" to see the connecting points.

There are no flights between Nice and Pisa. You'd have to fly to Milan or Rome, then usually travel on by road or train - both of which will take the best part of a day
The fastest way is to drive (except in the very rare event of extremely freak weather, though most major roads round Pisa were closed by snow on Dec 28, 2005). You need to work out yourselves whether this will be cheaper for you than the train.

Hi A,
Other than taking pictures of yourselves holding up the tower, what inspires you to take a 6-hr train ride to Pisa?
You could see the Cinque Terre, Santa Maria Liguria, Florence, Bologna, Genoa.
