Need Help Deciding Day Trips From Seville & Marbella

Hi all, my daughter will be studying in Seville and we plan to visit for 12 days in April. We fly into Madrid and will spend 3 days. What is the best day trip to take while there? We were thinking Toledo.
Next 4 days in Seville. We are taking the train from Madrid to Sveille and will get a car. While my daughter is in classes we will tour Seville, and we thought 1 or 2 day trips. What do you suggest?
We all (my husband and 2 older daughters) will then go on to Marbella to stay in the Marriott (have Marriott points) and will use as a central point. We want to know...is it better to do Gibralta from there? What about Ronda? Granada -- should we book a night there or is it reachable for a day trip? Has anyone done the Aracena Caves? From where and which location?
It's the logistics. We want to see Gibralta, Ronda, Granada -- where is the best place to leave from that makes sense? Thanks for all your help.

Gibralter has nothing on it.

Grenada is wonderful.

I find nothing of interest in ronda but everyone here loves it; go figure.

From Seville, you've got to do Cordoba. Second choice (if you like horses, as they have a good equestrian school with shows) is Jerez de Frontera.

You can't go to Granada from Seville for a day trip.

I'm one of the Ronda lovers.

Do Cordoba definitely, Ronda definitely, and Cueva de la Pileta with a lunch stop at Hotel Molino del Santo.

We've stayed at the Marriott in Marbella and love it. Great locatin for day trips to Ronda, Granada, Nerja (caves there are wonderful) and white villages.
