Naxos Hotel

My husband and I are traveling to Naxos in July and we would like to stay at Nissaki Beach Hotel. On their website, they have a form to fill out to get more information as they don't seem to take online reservations. I have filled out the form multiple times and I have never received an answer. I have tried expedia, orbitz, etc. and they all list this hotel as not having any rooms available no matter what dates I plug in! Does anyone know why I would not hear from this hotel? Is this hotel still open?

Have you tried emailing them - [email protected] or phoning +30 22850 25710-3. They may well be on their holiday break.

Many Greeks work really hard 7 days a week from April through November and then they take a long break during the winter season. Replies tend to be very slow this time of year.
Although we have never stayed at Nissaki it is right across the road from our favorite hotel Glaros. We have visited Nissaki. It is a nice hotel located directly on St George Beach. We have been to Naxos several time and always recommend one stay at St George beach. There you get the best of a beach holiday but because it is located on the edge of Naxo town you are only about 10 minutes from the bustle of the town and all of it's antiquities, shopping and dining but with the benefit of being far enough away so that it is quiet ant night. Greece can be very noisy at night so St George is a great place to stay.

Nissasaki is one of the few hotel in Naxos that has tour companies regularly booking with them. While that is a good recommendation it does tend to limit the availability.
Keep trying but you may want to consider Hotel Glaros which is directly across the street with a better ocean view and cheaper or you could try Hotel Spiros which is further along the beach, It has a pool but limited sea views and is probably one of the better values near St george beach.

Thanks for the advice. I did email them almost a month ago, but they did not respond. I contacted Hotel Glaros, but we would prefer to stay at Nissaki Beach and I did not want to give up on them yet. Maybe we will wait until April and then make a decision.

If you have your heart set on Nissaki Beach Hotel, why not contact them directly by telephone? There could be any number of reasons why they didn't answer your email, but if there is anyone in their office, they will answer the phone.

You are traveling in July, which is high season. Don't wait until April to firm up your reservations.
