Monte Carlo from Nice

Hello,

Is it better to take a helicopter from Nice to Monte Carlo or just get a taxi? I'll be travelling with 2 other adults and a 2yo child.

Well- I would either take the train or rent a car -probably less than taxi and you won;t be so squashed (assume you're traveling with luggage).

The train only takes about 20 minutes from Nice to Monte Carlo, so unless you're trying to escape the paparazzi, I'd do that.

And I'd sure hate to think what a helicopter would cost? Not sure I can count that high.

Bus. Really. Cheaper than a helicopter, and it offers a more scenic trip than does the train.

Thanks everyone. I hadn't heard that there was/is a train. I'll look into that.

My goal is to find the least cumbersome mode of transportation to Monte Carlo.

Nice and Monte Carlo are on the same commuter train line, just minutes apart.

Helicopter ride from Nice to Monaco takes only 10 min. I think it’s around $200 p.p. If you take taxi, depending on what time of the day you travel, it may take 30min to 1 hour. Cost is around 50 Euro? If taking taxi, you may want to pre-arrange this service.
