Nice to Monte Carlo

My daughter and I are flying into Nice for a cruise. I would like to visit Monte Carlo for the day. I understand the train is inexpensive and quick. Any thoughts? Money is a concern.
Thanks,
Karen

The train is an easy and fast way to get to Monte Carlo. You can take a bus from the Nice airport to the train station, although given the short distance a taxi wouldn't be very expensive.

BTW, there's not a whole lot to do in Monte Carlo. Have you considered spending the day in Nice, which offers a great deal? And what are you going to do with your luggage in either situation?

I have always wanted to see Monte Carlo. I will spend the next Sunday in Nice. I believe I can store the luggage at the train station in Nice.

Karen, have you thought about going to Eze? It is incredible. It is an ancient medieval city nestled on the top of a mountain with narrow cobblestone streets, etc. It really makes you feel like you have been thrown back in time. Just a thought..
