Madrid Hotel recommendations
Hi all. I'm looking at the Hotel el Prado, which is 200 Euro, and the Best Western Atlantico. What I liked about the Prado was that it sounded like it wasn't located on as busy and noisy of a street as the Atlantico.
Any thoughts on these two places - or recommendations similiar to the Prado perhaps a bit less expensive?
Thanks,
k.

Prado has been highly recommended previously on this forum and by most of the guests at booking.com. I think the price you've got is way too high? At least, a weekday in September would be 81€ for a double.

That is the price the Hotel Prado's website gave me. I tried to book through Orbitz, and they indicated no room availability on my date. I will check booking.com - thanks.
The Atlantico is not an option - they have no availability. There are rooms available at the Best Western Aroso, but for not much less than the Prado.

Sounds like the furniture fair or something similar happening. Here is the Fair calendar. Maybe you can decipher something yourself from it and its dates.
