This hotel does get mixed reviews, but some are very good; and isn't it right near the Gloucester Road tube station? That's convenient!

Also, if you don't like the first room they show you, ask to see another if they're not fully booked. I always room shop, even at hotels in the states.

If it's cheap you want, see my information on the Arosta Hotel that I just returned from

Bearcat,

I found the Park International to be a good value and the location was very good. Not only did they honor their rates, they gave me an upgrade.

The breakfast was nothing special (though better than at a equivalent hotel in the US), but I don't normally eat breakfast anyway.

I am staying there on my next trip.

Just read another current thread about the Victoria Park Hotel. Poster got a rate of $119/nite from Expedia. Sounds good to me (near Victoria Station-very convenient).

Forgot to mention. For my next trip, I have a single for 35 pounds a night plus tax.
