Punto, thanks for the report! Now I know I can at least peek into certain restaurant if I make it to Killarney! Nice of the owner to help you play for free. I am not a golfer and am always amazed to hear how high greens fees are!

why thank you ladies. I did think green fees were very high in some of the courses, but i was given a great tip. Apparently the courses are very quiet during the winter, yet you can be blessed with great weather in kerry in October - December. I was told not to book any golf courses and just arrive on the day and bargin. You might save yourself up to 50$ in some cases.

Unforunately, Budman, I don't remember the names of the restaurant. I have a horrible memory for names. I keep cards for places I like, but not for the ones I don't.
