Kids in Europe
Hello,
Doing some very early planning but looking to spend approx 2 weeks in Europe in late summer with 3 children (3, 5 and 8). Parents have travelled pretty extensively and the children are great travelers. We will likely do a couple of days at Disneyland Paris but any recommendations for what else to include? We have visited Paris quite a bit so not looking to spend too much time there but open to seeing other parts of France/other countries. If possible, we would like to stick to plane/rail/public transportation travel and avoid cars.
A perfect itinerary would include some historical sites, lots of outdoor space/playground/parks and a variety of experiences.
I'm aware this is still quite vague but appreciate if anyone could share itineraries that might be somewhat similar or ideas of what you might recommend.
Thanks for any and all help!

Any area in France you' re interested in? In any case, book early. I don' t know about what is late summer for you, but you'll be intersecting with a lot of European school holidays. You might also think about going to Paris after all, and treating it as a beach destination once Paris Plages is on in summer. Maybe not move around a lot with children, but do a resort like Huttopia (there' s even one in Bois de Boulogne, with great chalets for families).

How about Paris/DisneyLand and London. Quick train ride between the two and fly open jaw into LHR home from CDG.
London has sooooooo much for kids those ages: Natural History Museum, Princess Diana Playground, Tower of London, Hampton Court/Maze/costumed historic characters, British Museum/Mummies and stuff, LegoLand in Windsor, London Transport Museum, parks galore,
