Karen Fawcett's husband

Those of you familiar with the bonjourparis.com web site and its founder and president, Karen Fawcett, might want to know that Karen's husband, Victor Kramer, died this past week. The current BP newsletter is a tribute to Victor, who will be sorely missed.

A true gentleman and a very modest fellow. He introduced himself to me as Mr. Karen Fawcett.

Underhill, thank you for posting. BonjourParis was one of my first introductions to a travel website and a great help to a Francophile. From reading the tributes Victor sounded like a true renaissance man. Deborah

I never had the pleasure of meeting Karen and Victor, but I felt as if they were friends from all that we shared every time I read BonjourParis, and I read it often. It cannot be said about everyone, but I think it can be said about Vic..."His was a well-lived life".

She is one fine Lady. She emailed me daily and telephoned me to cheer me up and guide me through my husbands ordeal and never mentioned how sick her own husband was'.

Thank you for your posts. It will be a long time (if ever) before I recover from Victor's death. He made my life so much brighter -- and saw all of France as the most beautiful place in the world. BonjourParis.com would not have prospered without his encouragement.
