But of course, the Parisiennes described in these articles were from an era that is almost gone.
Do you remember Brigitte Bardot in the movie "La Parisienne"?
Back then the ladies were tres chic and very fashionable.
Today Parisiennes are a far cry from these portrayed in the articles.
I can see it everytime I go to Paris..Elegance..qu'est que c'est que Ca?

Great article. I had read this once before. I think putting a description of platform, high heeled, black and white tennis shoes and the word subtle together is somewhat of an oxymoron...LOL Ya think? I actually had a pair of blue and white checkered high heeled tennis shoes in the 80's. So "fab" I looked in those shoes!!! LOL
