I don't really have a problem with it -- it's just another part of life. I get bored reading the complaints about it on this board.
That said, I still thought this cartoon was quite funny if I do say so myself.

I always said....
I don't have a problem with TSA's physical security. I have to do it about 50 times a year, I know what's required, I'm ready by the time I get to the front of the line and it never takes me more than couple of minutes to get through and get "dressed" ...(although I will admit that some of the procedures are nothing short of ridiculous and a total waste of time).
I just wish that the casual flyer would learn what's required and get ready before it's their turn. They are the ones that hold up the lines.....but that's another topic for another day.
That said, I do have many problems with CAPPS and all the other possible "security" NOT!!! programs that HS and TSA are trying to push through. Sorry, I don't buy it. Nothing more than harassment of law abiding US citizens/residents and foreign tourists/businesspeople....It will not catch one terrorist - that I guarantee!!!

I'm with AAFrequent Flyer. I'm fine because I fly so much I know the rules, can get dressed and undressed quickly, never wear a belt, always wear slide on shoes, etc. But I'll take it a step further. There should be an instructional sign for people who don't travel frequently (and for those who do but just don't get it) and if they aren't ready when they get to the front of the line they should be moved aside.

As someone who flies maybe once or twice a year, I have figured out the process:
--slip on shoes with socks (no standing barefoot)
--no belt for the plane trip (it's constricting on a flight anyway)
--no fancy clothing with accents of metal (i.e., buckles, snaps, zippers, grommets, etc.) -why take a chance
--coat off BEFORE getting to the conveyor belt
--all my electronic gadgets in one place -makes it real easy for them to do a search
--ticket and ID out and ready to show
--check carry on bags for any items on the Not Allowed list BEFORE leaving home
and of course now:
--all toiletries in 3oz bottles or smaller in one quart size bag and pull it out of the carry on bag BEFORE reaching the conveyor belt
Have I missed anything?
