is there a shuttle at CDG to downtown Paris?

I did a search and can't find the info. We will be coming into Paris from Barcelona at night. I wondered if there is a shuttle we can get. It seems to me I read something about it....but I can't find it in searching.

Thanks so much.

I don't know about a "shuttle" per se, but we always use Air France bus service from CDG to downtown. Information available at http://www.airfrance.com/hkairport_i...sportation.htm.

The buses are comfortable and there's a baggage handler to stow your bags. From their scheduled stops, a taxi is available to your hotel.

parishuttle.com I've used several times and have found them reliable.

Try www.parishuttle.com or www.beeshuttle.com.

There is also a train called the RER that goes down the middle of Paris. It connects at various points with the Métro system, and a single 8€ fare buys you the run of the network (RER plus Métro to your destination). Where are you staying? How much luggage do you have? Any children?

What do you mean by "shuttle"? There are private van services that may have that in their name, and a couple bus services (Air France and the one run by Roissy or the city).

Private shuttle vans are usually discussed in almost every post about these options, of which there are many.

Why don't you try typing "paris shuttle" without quotes in the box and then hitting France to search?

Lois, for the little bit more you'll pay for a taxi, I'd recommend taking one for the convenience.

I agree with grandmere. Second choice would be an Air France bus, but keep in mind that you will still need to get from the stop to your hotel. I've taken the RER plenty of times, but I'm not sure it's a great choice at night for your purposes.

loisco,
I have been to Paris twice and each time I just went outside the arrivals and got a taxi right to the door of my rented apartment. May cost more but it was great - no hassle. I also took the return trip to the airport by taxi.
After all you are on holiday and its a time for hassle free enjoyment.

A taxi it is...but we may try the shuttle on another trip...one that arrives in Paris in the morning.

It's nice to know of alternatives..
Thanks all.
