Ireland or Scotland or England?

Hey everyone. I'd thought I'd take a poll and see what everyone thinks is the most beautiful...out of Ireland, Scotland, or England. Thanks

You just can't compare whole countries and ask which is the best for any aspect. There's spectacular scenery all over the UK and Ireland. By the way, sheila might be a tiny bit biased.

Northern Ireland is beautiful. Cornwall UK a second and the islands off of Galway a third. I like Scotland but have not seen the really spectacular beautiful parts. I was only in Edinburgh, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and a quick trip to Stirling.

Whose kid is cuter? Whose dog is smarter?

Really a useless question that no one will agree upon.

Welcome to Fodors. >>Well I didn't quite get an answer from anyone lol<<

Unfortunately, your first post really doesn't warrant a 'serious' response.

England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland . . . all have EXTREMELY scenic/gorgeous bits. Which US State is most beautiful? Just not answerable . . . There are gorgeous spots in every single one.

Fodorites are really helpful - honest but we need something to work with if you want useful answers.

Scotland

Basically there is Yorkshire and Dorset. Then everything else follows, Scotland Eastern Isles, Highlands, Western Isles, Northern Ireland, Cornwall, North Wales, Western Irish Republic, Hampshire, The Lake District (yes this far down, only pleasant at 6am), Isles of Wight and Man, Channel Isles, Southern Scotland, Northern England, Kent. It just goes on.

Now if you asked something like "which is the best trout stream" or "where do you get the best watercress" we could help.

There are many beautiful spots in all those places. Isle of Skye, Antrim Coast, Dingle Peninsula, the Lake District, Cornwall, etc... you cannot choose!

The travel tips thread, and another one here along the same lines as this thread were zapped.

I want to know what he has against Wales in his list of places.
