Inexpensive flights between Prague and Paris?

Can anyone advise the best airline for reasonably priced one way flights between Prague and Paris? I have looked at every site I can find and flights seem both limited and really expensive. Looking to fly next October without making additional layovers in out- of -the -way hubs & unsure about some of the discount carriers...help, please!

If you haven't already, and want to go directly to airline sites rather than a general search site, have a look at Transavia or Czech Airlines. Both usually have a few flights to choose from per day on that route and prices *should* be OK this far out.

Or book the City Night Line sleeper train Prague (18:29) to Cologne (arrive 06:14) from €59 with couchette or from €104 with bed in a 2-bed sleeper, light breakfast included, shower at the end of the corridor at www.bahn.de/en

Have a larger cooked breakfast in Cologne.

Then book a Thalys high-speed train Cologne (08:44) to Paris (11:59) from €35 at www.b-europe.com

I can't tell from the question: are you looking for low-cost carriers or are you trying to avoid low-cost carriers altogether? EasyJet and SmartWings also fly that route.

Thanks for the "whichbudget" info- that's a new one to me, and it is showing me a few airlines which fly this route that I had been unaware of (like Transavia).
And yes, I am open to flying low cost carriers (we've had good luck with Vueling in the past as well as EasyJet) but I am a little leery about flying Serbia Air and China Eastern (maybe unfounded fears...).Czech air right now is showing only higher priced fares for the day I'm looking for which is almost 9 months away- @$530 right now one way, which is insane.
A number of sites only show flights up to 10/24- does anyone know when the schedule after that is published?
Man in seat 61, thanks for your rail suggestion, which would be our last resort. Since I know that it is possible to fly direct between Prague and Paris in a couple of hours, I am determined to keep searching for an airfare that is reasonable (ideally $200 or less).

There are plenty of low budget carriers that don't charge the same as Czech Air, you only need one.
