Paris to Prague
I am planning my 1st trip to Europe. I am traveling from the US to London. We have 12 nights total. We are staying in London 2 days then flying via Easyjet to Paris for 2 days. I have to be in Prague on business for 6 days. Is there a nice stop over for 1 night in between Paris and Prague? What would be the best route to take? Fly or Train? We were thinking maybe Venice, or Nice, Italy or Basel, Switzerland. Any help would be appreciated.
Any suggestions for lodging while in Europe would also be helpful.
Thanks,
Lisa

Paris to Prague is >15hrs by train. I'd fly, either from Paris or some other origin that is convenient to Paris by train.
The Prague airport website lists all flights so you can easily see who flies into PRG from where.

The general purpose tool for checking flights is www.whichbudget.com and you can find info on smartwings.com there. It would be my choice over train travel, by far and away.

I went from Prague to Paris a few years ago and flew SkyEurope from Bratislava. It was a relatively short train ride from Prague. The airport is not too far from the train station and the airport is very small- it's like an airport version of a one horse town. But SkyEurope was easy to book. They fly into Orly airport. We then flew back to Bratislava and took a short bus ride into Vienna for the last leg of our trip.
