I have not been to Britain for over 10 years, and I'm feeling like it's time to go again. I love driving holidays, and love beautiful scenery. I have visited Scotland, Wales, north and south, and parts of England... Cornwall, Devon, the lake district, and south to Brighton.
I love it all. I love rugged coastlines, and I love mountain scenery.
I'm at a total loss on where to go. I'd love to take the time and go all over Britain, but that's not possible.
What area is your favourite? Where would you go?

I really like just about every corner of the UK and a LOT depends on the time of year. My very favs by season would probably be:
In June/early July -- Scotland.
August/early Sept -- North Yorkshire/Northumberland - or - Wales
Sept/early Oct -- probably the west country especially Devon/Cornwall
In Spring -- Kent/East Sussex - or - maybe the Cotswolds and the the Marches/Welsh border country
Nov/Dec -- London

Janis, I love all of your choices, and since I'm hoping to travel in May or June, perhaps Scotland would be a good choice. I love the Isle of Skye and all the north west coast.
Oh Joe, I'm not forgetting Ireland.. my first love. Perhaps next year I'll have to return there. The last time I was there I toured all around Donegal.

Don't be mean B.Russ
kodi: There is really no part of Scotland (or at least any bits a visitor might find herself) that I don't like.
The very most most-est 'scenic' are probably the west coast and the far NW. But there are amazing areas in every corner of the country.
Besides the northwest some other favorites Include St Abbs Head in the Borders, the Fife fishing villages, the Trossachs and any of many lochs/mountains in that area, Islay/Mull/Iona/Skye, Spittal of Glenshee, Glencoe, Glen Affric - but I could go on for pages . . .

BigRuss, that was a typo.. sorry, I really did mean to type part, not park.
Janis, it sounds like you love the west and north west of Scotland as much as I do ! I really did love it, and wanted to be sure I was taking a friend to the best of the best.
There are so many beautiful places in Britain and I've loved them all.
Thanks so much for your great opinions. I appreciate it, and love to hear what you think.
