How too call hotel in Paris

I am trying to phone a hotel in Paris. I have an eleven diget number beginning with 33. Do I need to dial a prefix before dialing the 11 digen number?
Thank you for your help.

Yes: the international dialling prefix used by your home country. For me in Ireland to call France I dial 00.33.etc.

You need to dial 011 (zero one one) to get out of the United States. Then the phone number beginning with the country code (33).

When dialing from the US, leave out the zero that immediately follows the country code. It's normally in parentheses (0). You add this number when calling from within the country.

+33 (0)1 xxxxxxxx - this is the zero you do not dial.

BTW - this is all on the internet and you can get immediate detailed dialing instructions there or by calling an AT&T international operator.

An eleven-digit number starting with 33 does not have that tricky-to-explain zero that you need to omit: it's already gone.

Thanks so much for your help!
Fodors is usually not only much faster than trying to find on the internet or certainly calling AT&T.
