When I call home to the States from France, what numbers do I have to put in before the regular 10 digits? Are these pre numbers the same if I send a fax home?<BR>Thanks.

You dial 001 to call the US, phone or fax.

<BR><BR>To make a direct interntational call, first dial 00, listen for the tone, then dial the country code (1 = US & Canada; Great Britain = 44; Ireland =353; etc.) Then dial the area code then the local number. When calling with-in France dial all 10 digits, cell phones begin with 06..... residences begin with 01.
