calling back to the USA-what pre numbers do I add
When I call home to the States from France, what numbers do I have to put in before the regular 10 digits? Are these pre numbers the same if I send a fax home?
Thanks.

You dial 001 to call the US, phone or fax.

dial 011 + area code + phone number

Ok, is it 001 or 011???????

To make a direct interntational call, first dial 00, listen for the tone, then dial the country code (1 = US & Canada; Great Britain = 44; Ireland =353; etc.) Then dial the area code then the local number. When calling with-in France dial all 10 digits, cell phones begin with 06..... residences begin with 01. To call France from the US dial the international access no. 011 then (33) then drop the 0 on the 10 digit number and just dial the last 9 digits.

Example to call 01.43.36.19.50 from the Us dial:
011(33)0.43.36.19.50

Hope this helps.

Randy Smith
