L' Antico Pozzo or La Cisterna in San Gimignano in June?

We are debating on staying at La Cisterna or L' Antico Pozzo in June (both do have availability for our days). La Cisterna has a large room with a balcony/view but no air conditioning. L' Antico Pozzo has a small room but has air conditioning.

Not sure if a/c is needed in early June in San Gimignano and if anyone has any thoughts between the two hotels. Thanks

We stayed at Antico Pozzo last September (didn't need a/c). It was okay. We ate dinner at La Cisterna and if we return to S.G., we'll stay there. Restaurant has a wonderful view, maybe rooms do too.

Hotel Bel Soggiorno for dinner and the courtyard view room can't be beat. The views are incredible, the price is right and if you book ahead - you'll have the Best view table for dinner. The 5Euro breakfast was well worth the money...Stayed at L'Antico Pozzo one night - really small room and they lied about the 10% discount for cash.

Stayed at L 'Antico Pozzo last September. Room was nice but not outstanding. We actually stayed at the room that they feature in their website. No views to speak of and some noise from the street. We saw La Cisterna and thought that it's location was better and they do offer rooms that with views of the surrounding countryside.
