hotels in paris
i will be in paris for one day and need to find a charming hotel for around $100. I do not like big chains and was told latin quarter and marais are one of the better choices. am not crazy about museaums just some cafe, some shopping and the eifel tower. any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

That means 80 euro/night.
The Latin Quarter is the 5th, Marais the 4th, and the Eiffel Tower in the 7th arrondisements (as far locations for your hotel search, you can tell the district by the address/postal code).
You won't have any trouble finding nice cafes, bars, restaurants in any of these neighborhoods.

This is a good suggestion, but it fills quickly. We just stayed here for 5 nights, and were very pleased.
