Welcome to Fodors!

If you'll do a search(top of the Page), you'll find more answers than you know what to do with.

When you have more specific questions, come back for more help.

Good luck!

We've stayed at the Senlis several times. It's right at your budget and we've always found it clean and quiet. It's near the Pantheon and the Sorbonne in the 5th. It's convenient to everything, including the RER station that you can take directly to Charles de Gaulle. Here's the url http://www.paris-hotel-senlis.com/

We've also stayed at Hotel dy Lys but it's a bit more. We tend to always go back to the Senlis, although this time we're renting an apartment.

Good luck!

You might be able to get a room at the Hotel de Suez in the Latin Quarter for that. Small but perfectly nice and attractive rooms, close to Metro and a very short walk to the Luxembourg Gardens, the Seine, Notre Dame, the Cluny museum. That part of the 5th is a little too commerical and touristy for me to stay there again, but the neighborhood is many people's favorite place for a first visit and certainly not a bad choice.

Last year, I stayed at the Hotel Saint Pierre in the 6eme on rue de l'ecole de medicine. It's a couple blocks away from the Odeon Metro station and is centrally located. I think I paid about 82 Euro for an ensuite double. The hotel is nothing fancy, but my room, while small, was clean and fairly quiet. There is a cramped elevator and, apparently, some rooms have A/C. I had a small balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The front desk was extremely helpful and courteous. I plan to stay there again in September. I love the area and the price is right.
