Hotels in Paris
Has anyone stayed at Hotel Britannique, Hotel des Tuileries or Hotel Henri IV Rive GAuche or Hotel de L'Academie? I have to chose between them. Any thoughts or help? I have to decide asap so please feel free to email directly as well as on this site. Thanks, Sharon

I don't understand why people respond to a personal question as " has anyone stayed at"......with a reply such as "do a search of Hotel names, and check tripAdvisor etc etc. We can ALL do that....we are usually wanting personal references!

Mari -
Because a text search here will pull up lots of personal remarks that have already been posted! For example, type "brittanique and paris" into the text box at the top of this page to get 5 threads mentioning it.
Likewise, tripadvisor.com has comments posted by people who have actually been guests at the hotels listed, and is a very worthwhile resource.

Dear Mari, I guess you are directing your response to my reply to sharons. There is at least one daily post regarding Parisian hotels. So there are hundreds of replies for all sorts of hotels here and that's why there is always a suggestion for the poster to do a search. And tripadvisor.com is very very useful for guests' comments for many hotels as well.
The alternative is to get no reply at all.
