Linda,

After reading your nondescript header and your equally nondescript post, you are correct. WE ARE ALL TIRED OF THIS KIND OF POST!!!!!!

Be specific in your header.....neither in your header or in you post, do you specify the city/country. I assume it is Paris.

Good luck!

There is also a text search feature which you should use BEFORE you post. If you put "globe and hotel" etc. into the text field and select france as the country, you'll find dozens of threads mentioning each of these hotels. In addition to telling us that these hotels are in PARIS, FRANCE, you might also let us know why you've narrowed it down to these four - price, location, ammenities, or ???

OK, I'll answer your question specifically. Yes, I do know something about all of your hotels. There have been dozens of posts about them and by doing a search as suggested above you will find dozens of comments about them. If after reviewing those you still want further clarification, then post with specific questions about any of them.

And please do follow the above advice about a better title and clarification in your posts in the future. Don't think this is rude, we all would like this to be a better forum. Learning how to use it effectively will make it better. That's my only goal here.

This may be a first time poster , who has not figured out how to use the site. even if some of you don't mean to be rude that is how it comes across.

I'm sorry Linda. I have not stayed at any of these hotels but if you will use the search box on the screen and enter the hotel and France as the country. You might find some recent comments.

And your post was less rude how, "For"?
Even the poster said "I know everyone is tired of this kind of post" and the first person to answer agreed. You have given the same advice as the others (but far less complete and clear) and I see nothing rude in the way the others have said it. There was not one insult hurled!!!

By the way, when the poster said she knew people were tired of this kind of post, she was indicating that she is not a newcomer here.

Linda -

Before typing all your excalamation points, you might want to take a deep breath and read some of the constructive criticism here and make use of it.

" In addition to telling us that these hotels are in PARIS, FRANCE, you might also let us know why you've narrowed it down to these four - price, location, ammenities, or ???"

We still don't really know what you're looking for, do we?
Linda: Don't know about the others, but the Hôtel de Seine has been described as a total dump on many message boards such as this one, so I'd leave it off your list. I don't have any personal experience with it, but the number of times I have seen it slammed on various message boards leaves me to believe it must be really awful.
I only know about them second hand -- at least Levant and Globe. I see Globe mentioned quite a bit in articles or guidebooks about "charming" budget Parisian hotels, so I'm sure it is acceptable for quality, but I think the rooms are very small. It's a great location.

Hotel du Levant is in a very busy, noisy area with a lot of tourists, I know that. I dislike that area a lot (rue de la Harpe), but I know some others on here have said they like being in that location but was noisy -- maybe okay if you like staying out till all hours or have a room in the back and can keep the windows closed or something.

You can try www.paris.org/Hotels for reviews, if you haven't.
