Hotel Recommendation for Rome
Has anyone here stayed at Residenze San Pantaleo near the Piazza Navona? I am a single travler looking for somewhere in a safe area and would appreciate any recommendations. I'd like to keep it under 100 eur.
Thank you

I'm staying there this May for a few nights. There are some comments on this site about the hotel. Search for "Residenza San Pantaleo". I noticed you had an "e" on the end instead of an "a".

You didn't mention when you are going, but if you'd like, I can email you my opinions of it when I return.

Mark

I stayed there last October and I thought it was perfect for me. The location can't be beat and the price was good - 72 euro. An elevator was greatly appreciated. I was solo and felt very safe there and in that area. My room was small, but with a full size bed and nice big window that opened into a courtyard - no street noise at all. The bathroom was a good size too. I would not hestitate to stay there again.

Cookie, I'll post a review when I return. I'll be returning to the U.S. on June 4th. If you think about it, post a reminder around that time in case I forget.

In the mean time, I would make the reservation as you can always cancel it without penalty. The place is small and some friends of ours waited too long and have to stay elsewhere.

BTW, they are even sending a driver to the airport to come and get us.

Mark
