Hotel Modigliani or Relais Palazzo Taverna in Rome?

We found two places in Rome that have rooms available for our stay in early June. One is

Hotel Modigliani: http://www.hotelmodigliani.com/index.htm

or Relais Palazzo Taverna:

http://www.romeby.com/relais-palazzo-taverna/index.html

I know Hotel Modigliani seems to get rave reviews and for a triple, they are offering us 200 euros.

The Palazzo Taverna is offering us 190 for a triple room, but no one, either on fodors or tripadvisor seems to have gone here.

The Palazzo Taverna seems to be in an area that is well liked here(it is near Via del Coronari), but I'm a bit hesitant since I no one has seemed to be here before.

So, which one should I choose for both location and price? Thanks

I don't know anything about either place, but just based on location, I would prefer Palazzo Taverna, and it's cheaper, too.

Susan,

I agree about the location for the Palazzo Taverna, but I've sent both places numerous emails, and it's been only the Hotel Modigliani that has been very prompt about replying.

Hotel Modigliani seems to get good reviews here, and like I said in my initial post, I haven't seen any reviews for the Relais Palazzo Taverna.

Completely forgot to add - we asked for a triple at Hotel Modigliani, but they only had a standard double. So they said they would fit one double bed and on single bed(or three single beds) into one room.
