I like staying at this hotel:

It's in a quiet, but smart, street close to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. I walk everywhere, but the Spagna Metro stop is close by. It's like staying in a private home. I always ask for a room overlooking the courtyard.

We always stay at B&B Fellini. It's close to the Trevi fountain and we can walk almost anywhere. It's also near the metro stop and cab stand at Piazza Barberini. For a few Euro's more they have a rooftop apartment with a huge terrace.

We fount the Hotel Rex to be very pleasant. It is close to the main train station but away from the hubble bubble.
