Carol-
I stayed at the Claude Bernard for 5 nights in July, and I thought that it was just OK. I don't think that I would stay there again though. We got a good rate, however, so I don't regret it. We had to have our room changed because the air conditioner wasn't working, and in the room that we were moved to, the shower wouldn't drain. The staff was helpful when we complained, but the guy at the front desk told me that there are constantly problems with the rooms.
Both rooms were also very small, and smelled kind of "musty".

Just stayed at Hotel Claude Bernard and found it to be fine. The room was very small but my husband and I like each other so that wasn't a problem. The bed was comfy (pillows so-so). The bathroom was modern and everything worked well. The shower was small but good water pressure. The staff was friendly and helpful and we only needed to get towels from the desk one time. The lobby smelled musty but the room didn't (which is good since I have severe allergies). We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the room which kept the size from being a problem. I would stay here again, especially as the price was so good (about $85/day).
