Stayed at the Hotel Cervo...basic, spotlessly clean, very reasonable and 5 mins. from the airport

The nicest hotel is the Villa Malpensa--not cheap, but very pleasant. The restaurant served a very nice dinner as well.

The Jet Hotel is very nice and a great restaurant is within walking distance. I believe this is where some airlines put their pilots up for the night.

Paula

Hotel Valganna. Next to Bovisa Station, a stop on the Malpensa express train. About 15 minutes to airport. Less expensive.

--
I've stayed @ Cervo and it's functional (basic/simple). Villa Malpensa is higher priced than what I'd like to pay.
Any feedback either personal or hearsay on this place? Picked up the Italian Touring Club guidebook of Italy (excellent map) and they had an ad for this place.

HOTEL OLEGGIO
Via Verbano 19 - S.S.32 - 28047 OLEGGIO (NO)
Tel. +39 321 93301 - Fax. +39 321 93377
We stayed at Hotel Astoria in Gallarate, just a few miles from the airport. The nice thing about it was, it was in the center of town, which we found delightful, so there are plenty of places to eat, shop or browse. Not expensive, we paid 200,000 lira, 2 years ago. We would definately stay there again!
