Hotels near the airport in Milan

We've decided to change our routing and now have a 730am flight out of Milan this July.
Any suggestions on hotels near the airport with some local flavor? Looks like it would take 45minutes to get to the airport from the city. Thanks for your help!

Villa Malpensa is often recommended on this forum. We have stayed there twice. It is a five minute drive to the airport by complimentary shuttle. Rooms are nice and the restaurant is excellent. The hotel is an old villa originally owned by a count who owned all of the airport property at one time. The grounds are quite nice and you would never have a clue that you were less than a mile from the airport.

Much cheaper is the Hotel Cervo, two minutes by shuttle bus from the airport terminal. The hotel has a restaurant, elevator, air conditioning & TVs in the rooms.

I didn't see where you said WHICH airport. If it's Malpensa, we're booked into the Best Western Jet Hotel, which is about 6 KM from that airport. The hotel Cervo sounds as if it is near Linate.

We stayed at the First Hotel 120 Eur, which was fine. They had a decent Restaurant(forgot the name) next door which was good and reasonable. Seemed to have a lot of locals there. We were finishing our 17 day trip through France & Italy, and we just sort of vegged out when we got there. They had pretty good cable too. Our flight was 7:30 too. It was about 8 minutes... tops to the airport. We had a rental car, butthey had a free shuttle. FYI, Judy
