The main problem on Sundays is that many theatres are closed. However there are a number that do have performances - but some will be matinee (afternoon) only.

alanRow - I don't want to be picky, but if you actually look at the link you posted [same as mine above] you will see that there are 42 theatres open on a sunday.
I would say that "many theatres are open"
or, as i also said already, there's always Soho.
