London is not really affected. It is the surrounding countryside that is. Why not read some English newspapers online to learn more about it?

A good paper is the Telegraph:
www.telegraph.co.uk

or go to www.thepaperboy.com to get a full section of UK papers.

By the way the next few days in London will be very wet so bring an umbrella.

London is rarely affected by flooding, and aside from rain, which is annoying, the weather shouldn't adversely affect your trip.

The BBC has published the following flood warnings for certain areas, mostly Midlands and East Anglia:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/2622097.stm

Check out the official Met Office website for up to date weather reports:

http://www.meto.gov.uk

It looks like it'll be drier at the weekend, but cold, so bring layers and a brolly.
