Greece or Croatia, plz help!! :)

Hey there,

I am hoping to travel to either Croatia or Greece this summer. I had planned on Ibiza with some friends but have since started going out with a great guy and would like our first holiday together to be just us.
We're looking for something fun but yet with some good sights to see good beaches and a lively enough nightlife and yes with a bit of romance thrown in there Is this hard to get out of 1of these destinations??
I have been looking up loads of different sights and there are just so many different parts of Greece and Croatia i feel like my head is going to explode trying to decide....Would really appreciate some advice PLEASE and Thank you in advance.

Great beaches, plus nightlife, plus romance that sounds like Greece....
There are plenty of islands that you could visit, or also the Mainland, which has everything you are looking for.

There are endless beaches and plenty of nightlife in Greece. Plus, the best place in the world for romance is the Greek islands. If you are not completely in love when you go, you surely will be when you get there. I have not been yet been to Croatia and I am sure it is special. Yet, I know there is a fabulous trip for you in Greece.

If you haven't been to Greece and have the time go to Santorini and Crete. Start with a hill house in Santorini, food and nightlife and spectacular sunsets. ROMANCE in capital letters. Then it is a ferry ride to Crete. Must treat yourself to arriving to an island by boat. The slow approach to an ancient village is priceless.

Unless she's cancelled her booking, Áine has already made her decision:

I actually went into the travel agents on Saturday and have booked the frida apartments piskopiano hersonissos crete for 2weeks

OK, I am with Barry and also vote for Santorini, but go to Oia, not the big town.
I would find Rhodes and Crete, too big and more complicated.
Also, from Santorini you can go places, lots of other islands by ferry. Good Luck with this Ralph
