Some of the Alsatian products stores might also have some of the items you want.

Although there are some Lidl stores in Paris, they are few and far between. And I don't even know if there are any Aldi stores inside the city limits.

What did you want so much? I have a German friend in the US and we go to a German store/deli sometimes where she buys things she likes, but I'll admit there isn't much German cuisine I couldn't live without. She makes some good German cakes, though.

I'm on the edge of my seat. The suspense is killing me. What was it?

Inquiring minds want to know.
