Frankfurt overnight

It looks like I'll have to stay overnight in Frankfurt from Istanbul, before catching my flight home to the states. Any suggestions on where to stay or (better yet) something to do or see not too far from the airport.

ps - loved all the posts on the Christmas Markets in Germany - maybe next year.

There is a Sheraton at the airport, you can walk to the terminals. Very convenient for those morning flights.

I also vote for the Sheraton at the airport. I stayed there and it was sooooo stress free the day I left! It is situated just above the train so you could easily go into town on that day before you leave.

Mark me down for the Sheraton also. I have stayed there many times. It has always been very convenient, but since the recent renovations of the last year or so, it is also very nice. The Club Lounge on the 9th floor is very nice.
You are within walking distance to catch the train to downtown Frankfurt.

Rack up another vote for the airport Sheraton. Very nice and very convenient when it comes time to go check in for your flight. It is not cheap but the convenience more than makes up for the extra euros.
