First time to Copenhagen

Hi!
I will be travelling to Copenhagen by myself during the first week in April for 4 days. Should I get the Copenhagen Card for transit and museums. Which museums are worth visiting? Are there any moderately priced restaurants worth going to for a single traveler?

Thanks

I can't speak directly to Copenhagen, but most cities in Europe now offer some type of transportation/site cards. I use them all the time. The ones I've used also include a nice info packet. I don't think Copenhagen would be different. They are a great idea.

I was in Copenhagen last summer for 6 days (as a solo female) and never used public transportation within the city, it's quite compact and walkable. I took trains to some neighboring areas (castles, etc) but they were not covered by the city transportation passes.

The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek art museum is free on Sunday mornings. I thought it was very worthwhile. I didn't do any other museums.

Regarding museums; we loved Glyptotek and Thorsvalden musem. We visited also Frederiksborg Castle (out of Copenhagen) and Rosenborg castle

you might also want to visit Roskilde for the Viking Ship Museum and the Cathedral.

About the same ones you would go to if you had a TC.

The Central area of Copenhagen is very small - you can walk everywhere easily. We used a cab to and fro the airport - but in 4 days did everything in the city on foot.

Worth seeing outside: Roskilde Viking Museum and Hamlet's Castle.

Hi!
Wanted to go to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art as well as the Arken and carlsberg Glyptotek. Are they far from the city center?
Thanks
Denise
