Firenze...Hotel Pendini???

Recommend, or a centrally located hotel with similar rates and a lift?

Thank you fellow travelers.

We too are scheduled for the Hotel Pendini in mid-March. I would love to hear from others who have stayed there. We've been told it is top notch.

Ron, I stayed at the Pendini twice. The location is excellent, the family is incredibly helpful, and they are happy to help with tickets to a museum, dinner reservations, etc. There were two things I did not love. The first is that you can see that they overlook one of the main squares (Republicca?) and on weekends the rooms overlooking the square were noisy because of music in the square until quite late. Secondly the rooms needed repairs and updating, they were quite worn. Now, this was 8 years ago for my last stay there, so this may no longer be an issue at all. I can tell you that the rooms were very clean, quite large, and again, the family and staff could not have been more friendly. The location literally around the corner from Piazza Della Signoria was fantastically convenient. Hope this helps, Susan

We stayed at the family run hotel some years ago. It had a lovely breakfast room overlooking the square. The service was friendly and pleasant. The bathroom was very small.
