Haus, Ever tried flickr's "places" links? Visit http://www.flickr.com/places/Germany#mosel%20valley, (you will need to ignore the car photos!) and http://www.flickr.com/places/Germany/Bavaria/Munich and see if you still remember'em.

Mine has to be Bamberg. The Rauchbier takes getting used to, but the atmosphere is wonderful. In the two days I stayed there, I don't think I heard any other American voice. Since it was a weekend, there were many tourists there, but they all seemed to be German.
