#2 Yes tom_mn got it right. It is the Hohenzellern Bridge.
I was there June 13 2013 and put a pad lock on the bridge which I hope Cologne removes them all.!

The newest Paris bridge in town is the Pont Charles de Gaulle and it was to give an easy pedestrian access between the two main stations and a VAL type People Mover was to be installed but got stalled - it is still a short walk now between the two stations. Percy is for once wrong!

But he is right about Azay-le-Rideau (my favorite chateau by far!) being an island rather than a bridge over the Indre River (I think Indre!) - been there many times and I swear I recall water going under the castle but obviously not, reviewing pictures online. I was wrong, percy right.

Europe I believe ain't on Daylight Savings Time yet so London is, if so, just 4 hours away - annhig may still be lurking about.

It is 5:18 PM where I am at O( Mountain Standard Time) and it is 11:18 PM in London

annhig is just brushing her teeth and hitting the sack,!

so London is 6 hours ahead of me

#6 Isn't there a bridge that links Skye to the mainland now? (I didn't see it mentioned above, but its getting late and I am bleary eyed.)

Yes a bridge links Kyle of Lochlash (sp?) to the Isle of Skye.
