ES Italia online reservation

I ordered tickets online for 2 passengers from Venice to Rome for October about 4 days ago. My MC credit card shows the purchase but trenitalia never sent me an email confirming this so I have no record. How do I get my tickets? Don't they printout on my printer. I had no trouble with Thalys, CNL or German tickets. Can anyone help me, or lead me in the right direction?

Have you checked your Spam folder? Sometimes e-mail programmes can fail to recognise some e-mails as legitimate and automatically send them to 'Spam'.

Did you receive an email from Trenitalia with a PNR code? That is all you need.

Did you use/create a trenitalia account when you bought your ticket? Your ticket is associated with the account.

When you purchased your ticket, didn't the screen show the PNR code? I presume you did not print out the screen or write the PNR code assuming you get the same info by email? Dig through your browser's history: Firefox:history pull down, IExplore: view/explore bars/history to see if you can redisplay the purchase completed page.

Dig through the cached data.
Iexplorer: tool/internet options/General/Browsing history-settings/view files

If you registered on Trenitalia before your purchase, you should be able to log in.

Thank you all for your reply. Somehow through this information I was able to log onto the Italian site and with a cut/paste translation I was able to put my retrival number in and they resent me an email with my tickets.

More work than I needed, but all worked out.

Again my thanks to each of you for your help.
