Directions to Rome train station

How exactly do you get from the Rome Davinci airport to the Rome train station? Is the train station attached to the airport? Is it a few blocks away?

Rome has two airports. Ciampino and Fiumicino. Which one are you going to?

Phil, thank you for the information. I had no idea that the Da Vinci airport was also called Fiumicino airport. I will be taking the train into Roma Termini from there. Thank you.

www.adr.it/en/fiumic/fiumic-00.html click-on "Airport Maps". From Arrivals which is on the ground floor you must go up 2 levels either by elevator or escalator (just follow the signs for the Train and take the walkways (yellow tubes on the map) across the street to the station. Also in Terminal C there is a walkway that goes beneath the street. When you enter the train station the ticket windows are on the right but there will be a line, so buy your tickets (8.80e) at the newstand/kiosk right next to it. Only 3 tracks in the station and it always seems to be on Track 1 and the signboard will say Roma Termini. Don't forget to validate your ticket! Sit on the left side of the train and ~20min into the trip you will cross the Tiber River. You will see the ancient city walls, Pyramid of Gaius Gestius 12BC, aquaducts, Porta Maggiore (city gate AD52) and the 4C AD Temple of Minerva Medica (a bricked domed hall) just before stopping at Termini. Regards, Walter
