Directions on taking train from Rome Airport to Termini Station

I'm sure at sometime I have read that one can take the train from the Airport in Rome to Termini Station. Our hotel is walking distance from Termini. I am hoping to find some good info on exactly how to do this, cost etc. Thanks for any help.

Buy a ticket (+/- ten bucks) follow the directions to the train (right inside the terminal). The train on the right is the express to Termini. The one on the left is the local stopping several places on the way. The express takes 30 to 45 minutes. (Don't forget to punch the ticket at the yellow machine.)

Hi sue,

After you clear customs, follow the signs (and the people) to the Leonardo da Vinci Express. This is the train to Roma TE.

"There's a train station in the airport. To get into the city, follow the signs marked TRENI for the 30-minute shuttle to Rome's main station, Stazione Termini (arriving on Track 22). The shuttle runs from 7:30am to 10pm for 8.50€ ($7.60) one-way. On the way you'll pass a machine dispensing tickets, or you can buy them in person near the tracks if you don't have small bills on you. When you arrive at Termini, get out of the train quickly and grab a baggage cart. (It's a long schlep from the track to the exit or to the other train connections, and baggage carts can be scarce.)"

Travel time to Roma Termini is 32 minutes. There are no intermediate stops. The train is air conditioned. Before boarding, you MUST stamp (vidimare, vidimazione) your ticket in the yellow stamping machine at the head of the track. Don't take the OTHER train which stops at intermediate stations and does NOT go to Roma Termini.
