Train from Rome to Florence

Is there a train from the Rome Davinci airport to Florence or do we need to go into Rome to catch a train?

There is an express train (Leonardo) from the airport to the main station in Rome (Termini). It's 11€. If you want to look up schedules/prices enter Fiumicino aeroporto for your departure. Enter a date within the next 7 days if you want all trains and prices to show.

The Leonardo Express trains from FCO station to Termini station leave twice an hour, at 06 and 36 after the hour. Heading back to the airport from Termini to FCO, the Leonardo Express trains depart at 22 and 52 after the hour.

Note that if you ride the Leonardo Express into Termini you will come into Track #25, a satellite track. Be prepared for a 10+ minute walk into the main section of the station where you will catch your Roma Termini to Florence connection. f you book an AV train, the AV trains all leave from around tracks 5-12 so you will have some walking. You can also buy ALL your tickets from the FCO Train Station Trenitalia counter - or at a kiosk in the FCO train Station. These links might help you:

Due to a website crash I've had to rework the LINKS to my above post. **I APLOGIZE** if you've tried to access them and received an error message. Believe me, after reworking the entire website, I feel your pain! I know this thread is VERY dated, but I did want to update "my post" to prevent any confusion and frustration from folks doing research. Here are the REVISED links - Hopefully, they will help you in your travel planning:
