Deciding between 3 hotels....
Any opinions on these 3 hotels in comparison to each other would be greatly appreciated: Artus (Hotel Buci Latin), Luxembourg Parc, Hotel D Aubusson -- thank you! If any believes there is a better hotel out there also in the same area, please feel free to comment.

All are located in Paris. Haven't stayed at any but d'Aubusson has large rooms with buffet breakfast included in the rate. I've seen mixed comments about even if you take the most expensive room it is not worth it.

Hotel Buci Latin has tiny rooms and very expensive also.

Luxembourg Parc looks very nice and I would choose that out of the three.

I stayed at D'Aubusson last month and there was no buffet breakfast included in the rate. We had a standard double room that was decent size but not large. It was sparcely decorated not like the rooms on the web site. The bathroom was great and I got a non-smoking room. I would definitely recommend the hotel. Great location and wonderful staff.

I cancelled my reservatation at the Buci Latin because all the rooms were smoking. When we walked by the Buci Latin was on a very busy street filled with people.

I can't comment on the Luxembourg Park.

I stayed at the d'Aubusson in Dec 00, we loved it. We had a "superior" twin room. Very nice size, very large bathroom, all beautifully decorated.
The choices of "continental" or buffet breakfast were pricey, but we thought them very high quality and the coffee and juices were also excellent.

The hotel provided all amenties, including selling the museum pass in the lobby at no extra charge. Staff
cool but helpful. Location excellent.I am usually a right bank-stayer, but
I would definitely consider the d'Aubusson again.

It's me "xxx" again. I should also say that we wanted to stay at d'Aubusson in October. Decided a little too late as all they could offer was their suite at 390 Euros/night. Figuring that we don't really want to walk out and look for breakfast esp. since we have a teenager who doesn't want to get up much less get out early, with breakfast @ 20 Euros/pp we just passed. It didn't seem practical for us. But I am sure it would be allright for others. It looks like a nice hotel and since they're owned by the same owners of the Millesime, the service should be excellent as well.

Elaine, were you on the non-smoking floor or elsewhere at the D'Aubusson? My room on the non-smoking floor (third floor) was very plain compared to the rooms they show on the web site. I'm curious to know if the the other rooms are better decorated than the ones on the non-smoking floor.
