Hello!
My wife and I will be staying five nights in Lisbon in mid June. So...We'll have two to three full days to explore Lisbon with the possibility of one or two day tours outside of the city. Looking at the day tour options that are offered, I definitely want to go to Sintra. As far as the rest are concerned, Which ones would you folks also recommend?

Hi,
3 days are ok for Lisbon, good choice.
Sintra is definitely a must and is only 20 to 40 min from Lisbon by trains, only 20 km away.
Sintra has everything, palaces, gardens, castle, beaches, wine, you name it. So much that one day will be short so see everything. I would chance the Monserrate Palace to Quinta da Regaleira Palace, far better.
Sintra Portugal Guide - Fully Updated for 2018!
I recommend the Évora tour besides Sintra. You'll be able to see a different part of the country with a great culture, world heritage sites, and a very different landscape.
You can't go wrong with the others either but this one i better and far away.

Sintra tour is cool - I did the whole thing easily one day trip by public transit except the winery visit but took train to Sintra and buses to the Cabo di Roca (westernmost point of European continent including Ireland!) - we went to sweet-smelling eucalyptus groves after Sintra - but all those tours look great - can take train yourselves to Evora and see all those sights yourself (www.cp.pt - Portugeuse Railways for schedules or by bus; train and bus general info - BETS-European Rail Experts and www.ricksteves.com.)
the others are much wider ranging and you see a lot of the counryside as mbjl says. Been to all places on West Coast tour except Fatima and all are great even for a short time in each. Would be my choice if wanting to see a lot of Potugal and some neat places.
