Leaving in 1&1/2 month to Asia. We are switching gear now to Asia since last year's trip to Spain with Euro being so expensive. Spent 2 months last summer in Asia and the kids loved it despite the heat and humidity. We will try to see more of the US in the coming years too. But somehow I am still at this Europe forum bookmarking info on places I want to see, I just can't get enough of Europe...

Just when I was starting to get really bummed that my big trip to Europe (this past April) is over...and who knew when I would get to travel again...I found out I get to go to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in November!

I whined to Tod and ggnga about not getting to join them for their GTG in Paris a couple of weeks ago (we met there 2-1/2 years ago), but I will be spending 6 nights in Paris in September (24th-30th).
To make myself feel better, I arranged a trip to Cape Cod (never been) for six nights at the end of this month (22nd-28th). May not be Paris, but it gave me something to look forward to until I can get back to my favorite city in the whole world.

Only 5 days until I depart for an 8 day trip to Greece. It will be my second time to Athens, but my first time to the Greek Islands. After a few days in Athens, I'll be visiting Mykonos, Kusadasi (Turkey), Patmos, Rhodes, Crete and Santorini on a short 4 day cruise. I have a new camera and am ready to try for some amazing photographs. Seeing Santorini and the Terrace Houses in Ephesus are what I'm looking forward to the most.

Next trip: August 25th (about 37 days away) I fly to London (on FF Miles w/AA)staying at the University of Westminster dorm rooms for 3 days (been to London many times...my favorite city).
Then fly (BA) to Amsterdam (never been there)and stay for 7 days. It looks like a very exciting city and can't wait to see the canals, Anne Frank house, parks, cafes, etc.
Then on Sept 5th back to London again staying at the Univ of Westminster dorms in London for 4 nights and will do theater, probably "Jersey Boys", "Wicked" and "We will rock you". Also, plan on seeing the "Tower of London". Since I've been to London many times I've already seen quite a bit. I'll buy an Oyster card for transportation around London on the Tube and buses. I have a good friend in London whose the greatest tour guide.
I'm ready for my trip, I totally love Europe and have been to Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England (all over), Germany, France, Italy (Rome, Venice, Verona, Bologna), Prague, Austria, and next Amsterdam.
I sometimes travel alone and sometimes with friends. This trip I'll meet up with a friend in London, but be on my own in Amsterdam. Anyone going to Amsterdam between August 25th and Sept. 5th want to meet for lunch?

Leave for Venice, Florence and Rome with my sister FOUR weeks from this Friday! Cannot wait! Last time I was in Italy was 9/11. So that was a bad, bad trip. Looking forward to a wonderful trip this time! Safe travels, everyone,
