I'm back, jet-lagged, blissed out, covered in pet fur from the reunion, and a tad bummed that the next "big" trip is 360-some days away.
But thrilled with this one! Trip report on quick hits in Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Munich and Salzburg to come....

Then I leave for Oahu on April 19th for 5 days to visit my sister for her 60th Birthday. Next is the trip I have been planning forever it seems and I still can't figure out how to do it...Germany and Austria from October 7th to the 24th. Barb

My next trip is July '06---a "blitzkrieg" European tour with students, followed by 10 days on my own to Amsterdam, Brugge, and Stockholm, followed bya 10 day tour with my mom of Helsinki, St. Petersberg, and Moscow. I will not take anything larger than a 22" bag (she says hopefully...).

We leave tomorrow afternoon for a 10-day trip to Taiwan. It has been almost 25 years since I was last there. We have suitcase full of gifts for relatives.
We will split our time between Taipei and Hualien. I am looking forward to visiting the Taroko Gorge and the East-West Highway that my dad worked on as an engineer!

Three months to a Eastern Carribean cruise with a ton of family on my DH's side. We will be with our two DDs. This will be our first cruise experience. Still thinking about my two trips to Italy in February. (Milan, Como, Venice) and Rome!! It was the best!

OY!
OMG!
I have only 6 days until my first ever trip to Europe (Paris - solo and then meet up with a friend in Frankfurt). I have been planing for 3 months (well really, my whole life)!
I will be gone for 12 days... it is just going to go by too fast, travel always does.

Three more weeks and I'll be traveling to Lucerne, Lake Como, and Tuscany. We've been planning this trip for seven months. The hotels are booked, the car in Tuscany is prepaid, and the now it's just the anticipation. Flying first class from California on a frequent flyer ticket. Thank you United Airlines.

Hi Flygirl - quite the post you got goin' here!
12-day countdown to our Italy trip. Haven't finalized everything - ay yi yi. I hate it when work gets in the way of my travel planning!
Still stressing on packing; I really want to pack efficiently but just don't think I can "live without" for nearly six weeks.
Starting to miss my doggie - have decided "she" will write a letter to her caretaker outlining how many hugs 'n kisses she needs every day.

18 days till Amsterdam, Vienna, Berlin, Dortmund, Mannheim, Interlaken, Manarola, and Nice! Plane and train tix bought, hostels reserved.
However, 17 days till I defend my master's thesis! Still crazily working on it (or should be).
Then, once I return from Europe, I'll be moving ASAP to NYC for the summer. Still don't have a concrete place to live (thought I did) or plane tix.
My head is about to spin off! I spend entirely too much time reading posts on this board

Several business related trips in between, but only 34 days to our next vacation trip to Europe--Greece!
Third visit to Athens, but first to the islands of Santorini and Crete. All of the hotels, air flights and ferries are booked. I'm most looking forward to lounging on the beaches or at our private pool and eating some great Greek food--tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, fresh fish, etc.
