We are trying to get from Washington DC to Copenhagen. Can anyone let us know which airlines fly there and their experiences with them? Thanks to all.

Delta flies nonstop to Copenhagen from Atlanta and American flies nonstop from Chicago. I am sure that SAS or some other Scandinavian airline have connections from New York?

I know British Air goes from San Francisco so you might try them from Washington or NY.

SAS flies N/S Dulles to CPH. I suspect United codeshares that flight.

I did it a couple of years ago. Very average service IMO, no seatback screens, limited entertainment; that may have improved since.

If I want to find out who flies to a certain destination from my local airport, I look at the airport's website. Maybe your airport's website also has a list of destinations & who flies there ?

Even though I booked my own flight to Paris this November, directly with the airline, I went to Orbitz and Expedia, not only to compare prices but to see how many options I had from SFO to CDG. You could also do the same from DC or NY to Copenhagen.

Do you know about websites like Orbitz? You can plug in your departure and destination cities, and many different options will appear, including prices.

Actually, IMO the easiest way to find out the options is by going to an aggregator site such as www.itasoftware.com

For the departure point input the letters WAS which will show the departures from <b>all three</b> Washington-area airports.

You can also use the WAS for Orbitz, Expedia, etc.

I took the SAS nonstop IAD-CPH two years ago and it was fine--Airbus with seatback entertainment, OK food and service, coach seats no better or worse than any other coach seats. My 6'7&quot; husband was in Biz class and had no complaints.
We used United and USAir ff miles to purchse the tickets.
